Announcement | The İstinyeli Okuyor Book Club Held Its Meeting!

As the Directorate of Information Resources and Libraries at İstinye University, we held the July meeting of the “İstinyeli Okuyor Book Club”—which we organize for our academic and administrative staff—at the Central Library.

At the meeting on July 31, Gabriel García Márquez’s classic work *No Letter for the Colonel* was discussed in detail. Valuable opinions and evaluations regarding the book from club members who were unable to attend the meeting in person due to the university’s busy orientation period and work commitments were also read aloud and shared during the session.

  Due to the official holiday marking July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, the Library will be closed on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

The Study Spaces on the 2nd floor of the Main Library and the 6th floor of Vadi H Block will continue to be open 24/7.
