We are sharing below the information provided by TÜBİTAK EKUAL.
The 2026 quota for the Springer Nature open access agreement has been exhausted. APC support will not be available for the remainder of the year. Authors whose manuscripts are currently in the editorial process may, if accepted, publish their work as closed access without paying a fee if the journal is hybrid, or as open access provided they cover the fee themselves if the journal is gold.
We would like to express our satisfaction that the support we provided as TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM has been extensively utilized by our country’s scientific community. We hope that the agreement for the 2024–2026 period will shed light on the open access agreements planned for future periods and guide us toward agreements where quotas do not run out so early.
